Man, 33, Found Shot To Death In Montebello
MONTEBELLO (CBS) — Police Sunday found a 33-year-old man shot to death on a street in Montebello.
Authorities responded to the 700 block of Via Altamira after receiving several calls of gunshots heard in the area about 1:08 a.m., Montebello police Lt. Brad Keller said.
Arriving officers found the victim lying on the street suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Keller said paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene. A motive for the murder was not known and no suspects were in custody.
The victim was later identified as Jesus Antonio Castro, a Los Angeles County Coroner's official said.
