911 Call: Paula Abdul Crying, Screaming For Help On Valentine's Day

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Authorities have released a 911 call in which former "American Idol" judge Paula Abdul can be heard crying and pleading with dispatchers to help her escape her boyfriend's car.

The call was made on Feb. 14 and Abdul told dispatchers she was in a car going westbound on the 101 Freeway in Santa Barbara.

"You're gonna throw me out? Are you gonna throw me out because I have emergency on the phone?" Abdul can be heard crying.

Abdul later tells the dispatcher that the driver, who was not identified, was dropping her off.

Officers got in touch with Abdul about an hour after she made the call to check on her. According to authorities, Abdul said the incident was just a verbal dispute and declined to file charges.
