LOS ANGELES (AP) — Los Angeles police say an argument between two homeless men on the Venice boardwalk has ended with one man stabbed to death and the other arrested.

Sgt. Richard Parks says one man stabbed the other eight or nine times in the abdomen during the fight Thursday night.

The victim died at a hospital.

No one else was hurt.

The motive for the fight isn’t known.
