that driver u where talking about was my dad!

Not true! How many truckers do you actually know? Pretty broad stroke there. Don’t assume things, it’s not productive in a society where facts trump rumors and stereotypes. Can you drive a big rig? How many miles have you put in your log book? Most are superb drivers- it’s how they make a living.

Most Truck Drivers are responible and do all they can to get you everything you need and use like Gas, food and clothes… To the computer that you used to make an unnessesary snarky comment. The big picture is that a man died and who ever is at fault we need to learn from his death, to celebrate that we are still alive and send a small prayer to his family.

i apologize for the comment … Lets do admit that truckers have caused several deadly accidents due to gross negligence, lack of sleep or driving impaired, just like many car driver have….

How many cars CUT OFF truckers all day long?!? I see it ALL the time. Truckers need their braking distance!!!!!!! DUH!! (And no, I am not a trucker). Slow down and wait your turn, cars!!! If you leave on time, you will have no reason to speed and cut off others in your haste. Share the Road!!!

I saw this accident this morning. Hard to say how or why it happened. I agree with Kathy, cars have no respect for big rigs on the road. All I can say is it was a devastating sight to see. My heart goes out to the family that lost their loved one.

My father was an excellent driver. the company he worked for over 20 years considered him the best driver of there company. we’ve all had our fare share of truck driver scares.I am a truck driver to and he would tell me to always keep my distance. always leave space for cars to merge in and out of your lane. he would tell me,every one makes drastic decisions at the last minute and as a professional driver you have to be ready and alert. God bless the fact that he was able to steer the truck out of the freeway and avoid other injuries or fatalities before he passed away. thats the type of man he was. only his family and friends know what a great man he was. God bless all for your comments. R.I.P Dad.
