Authorities ID Man Fatally Shot By Deputy In Altadena

ALTADENA (CBS/AP) — A man fatally shot by a Los Angeles sheriff’s deputy was identified Sunday as a Pomona man.

The shooting, which occurred about 11:30 p.m. Friday, took place at New York Drive and Lake Avenue after deputies pulled over a car with two men inside, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Mark Pope said.

According to authorities, 34-year-old Stephen Bullock took off running and was caught by deputies. Pope says as the suspect fought with deputies, he reached for a gun in his waistband and was shot.

City News Service reports that Bullock died at the scene.

Officials did not say why the car was pulled over or what happened to the other man.

One less for section 8 I guess.

  • Idiot above

Tax Payer you’re an idiot. First of all the taxes you’re paying on your $20,000 a year job doesn’t amount to much. Second most men don’t get section 8, it’s usually mostly women. So, that goes to show you don’t know much and probably don’t pay taxes yourself. Most people that usually brag about doing something, usually aren’t doing anything. Nice try though.
