2 Killed In Early-Morning Crash In Glen Avon

GLEN AVON (CBS) — Two people were killed during an early morning traffic collision in Glen Avon, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

The two-vehicle collision, which was reported at 2:21 a.m., took place near Country Village Road and Granite Hill Drive.

Firefighters had to extricate at least two passengers. Both died at the scene, according to a department news release.

California Highway Patrol was investigating the cause of the accident.
