Autopsy Pending On Toddler Apparently Killed By Falling TV

ANAHEIM (CBS) — Police Saturday said an autopsy was pending on a 2-year-old boy who died Friday, apparently after being struck by a falling television set.

The toddler appeared to have been struck by a 32-inch television inside a condominium in the 300 block of West Summerfield Circle where he lived, Anaheim police Sgt. Bob Dunn said.

He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.

Dunn said it was unclear where the parents or caretakers were when the incident occurred.
