DA Wants OC Child Molester Committed
ANAHEIM (CBS) — A Santa Ana judge will decide on Thursday whether a convicted child molester should be released on parole.
KNX 1070's Mike Landa reports prosecutor Noorul Hasan says Douglas Mackenzie should be committed to a mental hospital because he is a danger to society.
Last month he pleaded guilty to molesting and videotaping a 10-year-old boy.
He was also investigated for a sex crime in Canada.
Mackenzie is eligible for parole because he gets credit for time served in Canadian jail.
