LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A collision between a Los Angeles police cruiser and a civilian injured two police officers and a man in their custody in Jefferson Park Wednesday.
The accident at 37th Street and Western Avenue happened about 11 a.m. A motorist may have rear-ended the patrol car, according to reports.
The two officers, 25 and 32, were taken to a hospital to be checked out, along with a man in his 50s, who was in the patrol car, Los Angeles Fire spokesman Devin Gales said. Their injuries were not believed to be serious.
No one in the other car was hurt.
