Driver Injured After Crash With LA City Fire Truck

BEVERLY HILLS (CBS) — At least one person was injured after a Los Angeles city fire truck and a car collided Monday in Beverly Hills.

The accident happened about 10 a.m. at Robertson Boulevard and Gregory Way, on the eastern border between Beverly Hills and Los Angeles, Beverly Hills police Sgt. Robert Maycott said.

The crash is under investigation, Maycott said. According to reports, the fire truck was driving with lights and sirens on.

The car's driver was taken to a hospital for treatment, but the severity of the motorist's injuries was not immediately known.
