3 Members Of Norco Family Arrested For Growing Marijuana At Home

NORCO (CBS) — A Norco family faces charges of cultivating marijuana at their Norco home.

Mark Brian Skelly, 41, and his 39-year-old wife, Susan, and their son Justin Mark Skelly, 22, were arrested about 7:30 p.m. Thursday on suspicion of marijuana cultivation, possession of controlled substances and child endangerment, Riverside County Sheriff's Sgt. Justin Rowan said.

Justin Skelly also faces a charge of being a convicted felon in possession of a gun.

A 13-year-old child was removed from the suspects' house in the 600 block of Seventh Street and is now in the care of Child Protective Services, according to the sheriff's department.

Rowan said deputies were conducting a probation compliance check at the residence when they discovered about 200 cannabis plants.

A small amount of methamphetamine, controlled pharmaceutical drugs, several firearms and paraphernalia consistent with the use and sales of controlled substances were also found, Rowan said.

All three suspects were booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside. Mark and Susan Skelly were held on $52,500 bail and Justin Skelly was held on $50,000 bail.
