2 Robbers Loose After Taking Over South LA Winchell’s Donuts

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Police are searching for two armed and masked men who took over a Winchell’s Donuts in South Los Angeles.

The robber happened in the 900 block of West Florence Avenue about 11:20 p.m., Los Angeles police Sgt. Jim Lewis said.

The suspects had a handgun, took money from the cash register and were last seen running east on Florence, Lewis said.

No one was injured during the robbery.

    Man, a lot of crime been happening in South LA in the past week that has made the news. I thought a donuts shop would be one of the safest places to be, lol. I guess not this one.

    Check the cops that were on duty. They’re tired of paying for their donuts. Look at their cars for signs of sugar and sprinkles.
