Man Critical After Being Shot In South Los Angeles Alley
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A man was in critical condition Wednesday after being shot in an alley in South Los Angeles.
Paramedics and police were called to an alley near 88th and Hoover streets at 3:40 p.m., police said.
The victim was taken to California Hospital Medical Center in critical condition, said Lt. Lisa Wernli of the Los Angeles Police Department's Southeast Division.
No suspect information was immediately available and it was not known if the shooting was gang related, Wernli said.
