Man Critical After Being Shot In South Los Angeles Alley

LOS ANGELES (CBS) —  A man was in critical condition Wednesday after being shot in an alley in South Los Angeles.

Paramedics and police were called to an alley near 88th and Hoover streets at 3:40 p.m., police said.

The victim was taken to California Hospital Medical Center in critical condition, said Lt. Lisa Wernli of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Southeast Division.

No suspect information was immediately available and it was not known if the shooting was gang related, Wernli said.

    these shootings are senseless don’t people have respect for human life if u want shoot guns lay life down for something worth while go into the military my son is in the Navy has a newly born daughter and has been deployed out to sea to help protect u creeps here!!!!!!!!!!!

    Somtimes the Shooter..Is out For never know..Could be ur Boss at work who did the shooting….u never know..a cool guy with a career and kids..that’s had never know..unless u know….So the dude who got shot..”Probally” just got what he deserved from doing somthing 2 someone else..if some shot kilt your brother, cousin, sister, uncle, auntie, best friend, or maybe even your probally would wanna lace up ur army boots too….(if another country drop a bomb on us..Wouldnt you wanna Revenge..yes. why..To teach people a lesson..whats come’s around goes around! and sombody will..bring it to you.
