Pedestrian Killed By Train In Riverside

RIVERSIDE (CBS) — A person walking on railroad tracks in west Riverside
was struck and killed by a train Tuesday.

The crash happened around 2 p.m. on Burlington Northern Santa Fe
Railroad tracks near Buchanan Street and Magnolia Avenue, authorities said.

The victim’s identity was not released.

Metrolink commuter train service was halted as Riverside police conducted an investigation.
