Three hours before kickoff, workers were still installing temporary seats in the top level of the stadium's west end after fans were allowed into the building. The NFL already was shuffling things around to accommodate the folks who'd paid $600 for those seats.

The Steelers and Packers are meeting in the postseason for first time in matchup of franchises that have combined to win nine Super Bowls. Pittsburgh has won six of them, including two in the last five years.

Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will be hunting his third Super Bowl ring. Terry Bradshaw and Joe Montana are the only QBs to win four.

Green Bay counterpart Aaron Rodgers is hoping to lay the ghost of Brett Favre to rest by winning his first title for the Cheeseheads.

But the Steelers will have to do without the services of Maurkice Pouncey. The rookie Pro Bowl center was ruled out Friday due to a high ankle sprain.
