HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBS) — A dead body was found Friday in a suspicious truck in Huntington Beach, according to police.

The truck was first discovered Friday morning near Golden West College at the southwest corner of Golden West Street and Edinger Avenue, Huntington Beach police Lt. Brian Seitz said. Campus security officials said the college was not evacuated.

The Orange County sheriff’s bomb squad was called because of a hazardous materials alert, police said.

“There’s no public safety concerns, but we’re just trying to be careful,” Seitz said.

I passed by the scene as I was heading home. I saw the bombsquad bot moving toward the truck as the cordoned off a part of Edinger. Very scary.
