18 Arrested in Castaic Prostitution Round-Up

CASTAIC (CBS) — Los Angeles County Sheriff's vice detectives in Castaic arrested 16 men and two women for crimes related to prostitution, authorities reported Friday.

The arrests were made Thursday night along a stretch of Castaic Road where authorities had received complaints regarding prostitution-related activity, according to the sheriff's department.

Fourteen men were arrested for solicitation of prostitution; two women were booked for loitering for the purpose of prostitution; and two men were arrested for interfering with a peace officer, authorities reported.

No names were released.
