Freight Train, Car Collide In San Fernando
SAN FERNANDO (CBS) — A northbound freight train stopped on tracks paralleling Truman Street in San Fernando, where it struck a car at Maclay Avenue which kept going, KCAL-TV Channel 9 reported.
The incident was reported to the San Fernando Police Department at 9:16 p.m. Thursday, a department dispatcher said.
The car did not stop but the train did, according to KCAL.
The train was moving again by 10:25 p.m., a news video cameraman reported from the scene.
No word on what kind of damage may have been done to the car.
