OC Jury Finds Man Guilty Of Raping 5 Women
SANTA ANA (AP) — An Orange County jury has convicted a 33-year-old man of raping five women and sexually assaulting a sixth.
Sekayi Rudo White, of Lake Forest, was convicted Wednesday of 14 felony counts, including attempted rape, rape, assault, sexual battery by restraint and making criminal threats after a trial in Superior Court.
The jury also found true special circumstance allegations of sexual crimes against multiple victims, rape with the use of a deadly weapon and committing a crime while out on bail.
White faces a maximum sentence of 119 years to life in prison at his April sentencing.
According to the district attorney, White met three of the victims at bars and another at a driving school.
Prosecutors allege the fourth victim was a woman he was dating and the fifth victim was her roommate.
