Lindsay Lohan Accused Of Stealing $2,500 Necklace
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating Lindsay Lohan for allegedly stealing jewelry that was returned after detectives obtained a search warrant.
The actress is being investigated for allegedly stealing a $2,500 necklace, according to law enforcement sources.
RadarOnline first reported that investigators have video of Lohan wearing the necklace. She was seen in a store video wearing the necklace, which later went missing, law enforcement sources told the Los Angeles Times.
Detectives began looking into the case and preparing a search warrant before a Lohan associate brought the necklace to the LAPD's Pacific Station, according to The Times.
Lohan is also facing possible criminal charges for an alleged attack on a worker at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, where she was undergoing a court-ordered drug rehabilitation program.
She is on probation for a 2007 drunken driving case.
