Tustin Police Hunt Sexual Predator Who Attacked Teen Girl

TUSTIN (CBS) —  Tustin police Tuesday were on the hunt for a man they say grabbed a teenage girl on her way to school and sexually assaulted her in a pickup truck.

The girl was walking to classes about 7:15 a.m. Monday, when her attacker approached her and forced her at gunpoint to a pickup truck parked nearby, Tustin police Sgt. Duane Havourd said.

After he sexually assaulted her in the black truck he let her go and sped away, Havourd said.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned Latino man about 25 to 35 years old who has a muscular build, short brown hair and a mustache, Havourd said. He was wearing a black leather jacket and threatened his victim with a black handgun, Havourd said.

The suspect has a scar or mark under his right eye, Havourd said.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call police at (714) 573-3250.
