Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (February 1)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — High pressure building into the Great Basin is going to translate into a windy mid-week for Southern California.

Wind Warnings have already been posted starting late tonight running through Thursday. Those wind gusts could exceed 60 mph.

A trough over the Rockies is helping to usher in some cool air here in the Southwest... so daytime highs aren't going to be much different from Monday.

We are running 2 to 4 degrees below average. We will eventually warm up by the end of the week and weekend... with daytime highs in the low 70s.

The off-shroe flow will be the dominant feature through next week.

Tuesday
Coastal - low 60s
Basin - mid 60s
Valleys - low 60s
Deserts - upper 50s
Mountains - low 40s
