Ice, Snow Force Hundreds Of Flight Cancellations
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Airline passengers arriving at or departing from Los Angeles International Airport should check the status of their flights due to a widespread winter storm that is wreaking havoc on the East Coast and Midwest.

Delta Air Lines Inc. is canceling more than 625 flights for Tuesday as the nasty winter weather moves through the Midwest and into the Northeast.
Widespread cancelations are expected from other airlines as well. Chicago airports are reporting 650 cancelations. O'Hare International Airport is a hub for both United and American airlines.
JetBlue says it will cancel its flights in and out of New York's JFK airport beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with some flights to resume Wednesday afternoon. It plans to shut down its Boston flying on Tuesday night, resuming Thursday morning.
Temperatures as low as -13 were also recorded at Denver International Airport, where snowy conditions caused several delays late Monday evening.
Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport was also closed for an hour Tuesday morning due to icy runways.
