Deputies Mull Hate Crime Charges For Church Vandals
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Officials with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department say they have opened felony investigations after two separate houses of worship were targeted by vandals over the weekend.
KNX 1070's Pete Demetriou reports detectives may end up investigating the graffiti as hate crimes.

A 7th Day Adventist church on Highridge Road in Rolling Hills Estates had Pentagrams and derogatory comments about Chinese members of the congregation sprayed on the walls.
A Jehovah's Witness hall on Killian Street in Rowland Heights, meanwhile, was tagged with symbols and comments related to satanic worship.
Sheriff's Deputy Lillian Peck says active investigations are underway.
