LAGUNA BEACH (CBS) — The surf along Aliso Beach is off limits Saturday due to a sewage spill that ran into the ocean via Aliso Creek.

The affected area includes 1,000 feet on each side of the creek mouth, according to the Orange County Health Care Agency, which did not disclose the source of the spill.

Signs warning of high bacteria levels are posted.

The beach is expected to reopen once testing shows bacteria levels within state standards.

Alisa Beach? Aliso Beach? Wrong!!! Try Aliso Creek State Beach. Great reporting, LA Times.

You’re blaming the LA Times for CBS2’s total lack of editors? Erm, okay…
