COSTA MESA (CBS) — The body of a man was discovered Saturday morning near a Costa Mesa high school and police said that he may have been killed at another location.
Police received an anonymous call about the man, who was reported to be in his 30s.
When they responded around 3:30 a.m., they found the body at Estancia High School at 2323 Placentia Ave., said Lt. Rob Sharpnack of the Costa Mesa Police Department.
The body was found in the parking lot and may have been brought to the school from another location, Sharpnack said.
“We are still piecing things together,” Sharpnack said.
He said the death did not appear to be related to the school.
