INGLEWOOD (CBS) — A male was shot multiple times in the parking lot of a Ralphs market in Inglewood Wednesday evening.
The shooting occurred at 7:41 p.m. at 950 N. La Brea Ave., near Centinela Avenue, said Sgt. Tyrin Bailous of the Inglewood Police Department.
The victim was taken to a trauma center, but his condition was not known, Bailous said.
Suspect information was not immediately available, Bailous said.
Meanwhile, in an unrelated shooting, police say a man was fatally wounded in Lynwood Wednesday evening.
That shooting occured just before 7:40, according to officials.
Police were responding to a “shots fired” call in the 3200 block of Euclid Ave.
The victim was taken to a hospital and he was pronounced dead.
At about 10 p.m. Wednesday evening, the CBS2/KCAL9 assignment desk was also following a lead about a possible “double shooting” in Garden Grove.

i think the problem is he needed to be carrying a gun as well since he was unable to defend himself. i just love wild west movies with all that shooting and killing. and just think we can live it now.

The guy who was shot was only 16… He was shot at least 4 times with 1 in his head that didn’t appear to penetrate his skull… He was fully alert immediately after, but he did fall to the floor when he entered the store
