Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (January 24)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Weak off-shore flow will remain in place through the middle of the week. Another disturbance is moving through and will set up another wind event. It will warm us up and dry us out by Wednesday.

If it weren't for the high-fuel moisture levels, we would most certainly be in red flag territory. However, because of the tremendous December rain, we are staying just above those critical levels. Nevertheless, there is no rain in sight.

Temperatures will stay 7 to 12 degrees above normal through Monday of next week. Look for chilly mornings and sunny afternoons.

Monday
Coastal - low to mid 70s
Basin - upper 70s
Valleys - upper 70s
Deserts - upper 60s
Mountains - low 50s
