Fire Breaks Out In San Clemente Condo Complex

SAN CLEMENTE (CBS) — Residents were briefly trapped by a two-alarm fire that broke out Friday afternoon at a condominium complex in San Clemente.

The fire was reported about 1 p.m. at 242 W. El Portal, Orange County Fire Authority Battalion Chief Kris Concepcion said.

A few residents were momentarily trapped, but firefighters managed to get everyone out safely., Concepcion said.

About 45 firefighters are battling the blaze.
