Survey: Visitors Say Los Angeles Is Least Friendly
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Visitors to Los Angeles say the City of Angels is the rudest among 35 U.S. cities, according to a survey from Travel + Leisure magazine.
A survey of the magazine's readers between July 1 to Sept. 15, 2010 rated cities in 10 categories, including Culture, Local Specialties, Nightlife and People.
KNX 1070's Chris Sedens reports even with nearly perfect weather year-round, Angelenos aren't always perfectly mannered.

Los Angeles didn't top any of the lists – not even for the weather! – but rated among the top 10 for its luxury stores, big-name restaurants, home décor and design stores, big-name luxury hotels and weather. At the opposite end of the spectrum, Los Angeles was ranked worst for public transportation and pedestrian-friendliness and friendliness and second-worst for affordable getaway.
Which city was most friendly? Charleston, S.C. But perhaps the most compelling question might be – what city could possibly have better weather than Los Angeles (which is enjoying clear, sunny weather with highs of 75 degrees and higher this week)?
Travel + Leisure readers say they enjoyed the weather more in San Diego, Honolulu, San Juan in Puerto Rico, Santa Fe, Charleston, Savannah and Denver than they did in Los Angeles.
