PASADENA (CBS) — The longest losing streak in America will keep on going as the Caltech Beavers lost to Cal Lutheran 80-45.

The Caltech Beavers have the dubious honor of losing 301 straight Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference games. This losing streak began during the 1984-1985 season, although, according to the New York Times, no one at Caltech knows precisely how many games the team has lost.

Caltech says they haven’t won a conference game since their win against La Verne, 48-47 – in 1985. The Beavers’ last winning season was in, ahem, 1954.
