Upland Man Uses 'CSI' Ingenuity To Try To Find Owner Of Lost Class Ring

UPLAND (CBS) — Fifteen years ago, Otie Braden found a 1981 Uplanders High School class ring with the initials B-B-B inscribed.

He tried to track down the rightful owner by going through old yearbooks...all to no avail.

Now Braden says, a tip he got from watching CBS' "NCIS" and "CSI" might help him find a possible owner.

Says Braden, "They were looking for somebody in a yearbook and that person wasn't there and one of the characters in the background said...we'll go back a couple of years...maybe they transferred."

Braden did just that. And now he believes he found the right person...A Bessie Bishop in the 1978 book and a Becky Bishop in the 1979 book, both believed to be the same girl. But he believes she's gotten married and changed her name.

Anyone with information about the ring, or Becky/Bessie is asked to call Braden at 909-635-4957 or at Otieaco@hotmail.com
