Woman Bludgeoned To Death Near Exposition Park
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Police say a woman was bludgeoned to death Sunday in her home near Exposition Park.
Family members found the elderly woman's body Sunday afternoon in the 4100 block of South Budlong Avenue, Los Angeles police spokeswoman Officer Karen Rayner said.
Officers responding to the scene found the woman suffering from several stab wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene, Rayner said.
No arrests have been made, but several people were detained for questioning, she said.
