East Coast Storm Prompts Flight Cancellations At LAX
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A winter storm is snarling road travel and forcing airlines to delay and cancel flights up and down the East Coast.
Several flights from Los Angeles International Airport to New York's Kennedy Airport and Boston's Logan Airport were cancelled early Wednesday morning.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey reported 675 canceled flights Wednesday morning at LaGuardia Airport. Kennedy Airport had 300 cancellations and Newark Liberty 440.
Every flight in and out of Boston's Logan Airport was delayed. Philadelphia's airport reported about 20 dozen canceled outbound flights and 100 canceled arrivals.
