SEATTLE (AP) — Alex Jones scored a career-high 29 points to help Seattle beat Cal State Northridge 65-58 on Saturday night.
Aaron Broussard scored all 10 of his points in the second half and had 12 rebounds to help the Redhawks (7 11) win two in a row for the first time this season.
Lenny Daniel scored 27 points and Rashaun McLemore added 14 to lead the Matadors (4-11), which have lost five of their last six games. Northridge dropped to 0-7 on the road.
Jones scored an inside basket with 14:19 left in the game to break his previous career high of 24.
Jones shot 9 of 11 from the field and 10 of 11 on free throws in 24 minutes.
