LA Food Trucks Going To The Dogs - Seriously

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Gourmet cookies, ice cream and other delicious treats may not be enough to stand out among the competition in the booming food truck craze.

But one truck offers all these with a caveat: you must enjoy dog food.

Natasha Case with the Phydough truck says now that every kind of dish imaginable has been fused and rehashed, it was only a matter of time before the business went to the dogs.

The canine cuisine includes safe-for-human treats like peanut butter and bacon bones and sesame agave cookies, along with special-made soy and yogurt-based ice cream for dogs.

The truck is set to debut Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m at the Americana at Brand in Glendale.

You can follow Phydough on Twitter (@phydoughtruck) for all your lunch needs — canine and otherwise.
