Suspected Gang Member Sought In Girlfriend Attack

HAWAIIAN GARDENS (AP) — Authorities are looking for a suspected Hawaiian Gardens gang member who allegedly poured flammable liquid on his girlfriend and set her on fire.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department says 31-year-old Francisco "Pancho" Nunez is wanted on suspicion of attempted murder and arson for the Saturday attack.

A department statement says the woman sustained second- and third-degree burns over 60 percent of her body and is listed in critical condition.
