HAWAIIAN GARDENS (AP) — Authorities are looking for a suspected Hawaiian Gardens gang member who allegedly poured flammable liquid on his girlfriend and set her on fire.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department says 31-year-old Francisco “Pancho” Nunez is wanted on suspicion of attempted murder and arson for the Saturday attack.

A department statement says the woman sustained second- and third-degree burns over 60 percent of her body and is listed in critical condition.

Arson detectives urged anyone who may have any information regarding the attack to call them at (323) 881-7500.
