Police Find Man's Beloved $250K Hot Rod

GARDEN GROVE (AP) — A police task force has found a California man's beloved $250,000 hot rod in a shroud of bed sheets at an Orange County body shop.

The Orange County Register says a man has been arrested, but his name hasn't been released.

Robert Slovick's 1934 Ford coupe, which he says is worth $250,000, was stolen early Sunday. It was locked inside an enclosed trailer parked in front of Slovick's Garden Grove home.

On Wednesday, Garden Grove police and Orange County Auto Theft Task Force detectives found the car at an auto body shop several miles away from Slovick's home.

Police say the hot-rod was covered by sheets and apparently wasn't damaged.
