Cosmetic Surgeon Defends Patient Death, Credentials

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The Encino cosmetic surgeon who has been in hot water with the state medical board denies responsibility for a patient who died after one of his procedures.

Dr. Ehab Mohamed spoke exclusively to KNX 1070 investigative reporter Charles Feldman about the allegations.

Mohamed is accused of lying about his credentials — and recently having a patient die in his office while undergoing an all day $100,000 liposuction procedure.

There is a hearing for the doctor before a judge scheduled for Monday.
