That’s all it took to be on the news. Lame as hell.

These things should be banned. They are another product of the makers of Water Boarding (psychiatry) who use their tactics on their patients just like in Natzi Germany.
If I got zapped by one of those things I would run into traffic as well in order for them to stop!
Evil tactics and does not say anything for what kind of race we have become or have gotten used too!

@swhit. Go back to eating your Cheetos. You have NO idea what you’re talking about.

      I love my tazer.

  • Max

    Good! Taze her again!

If it saves her from getting hurt or killed, so be it.

Tasers have saved alot of lives, far outnumbering the very few deathjs they are blamed for(that are usually the result of people being so overdosed on drugs they’d die no matter what force was used). and it saved this woman’s life too. Thre are alot of people alive today that would have been shot for lack of any better option back in the days before the taser entered widespread service..

Tasers are tools that can be used or abused, but possess a tremendous capability to subdue people without permanent injury, who otherwise would be a danger to themselves, officers or others. Eventually, all officers will carry Tasers (or some other equivalent), and there will be less injuries and deaths as a result.

Stun guns and pepper sprays are valuable tools for self defense and can save lives in many situations. The only time they become a problem is when they are abused by police or used to commit a crime. If I had a daughter or granddaughter in college or living in a high crime area you better believe I’d make sure she could defend herself.
