Highway 140 Open Again After Large Boulder Falls

YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK (AP) —  Highway 140 into Yosemite National Park is open again after a large boulder fell onto the roadway.

The boulder, estimated to be between 10-15 feet high and six feet wide, forced the closure of the highway Thursday.

No injuries or structural damage were reported from the rockfall, but park officials say damage to the roadway has yet to be assessed.

Officials say all other roads, except for the seasonal closure of the Tioga Road and Glacier Point Road, remain open.
