LAKEWOOD (CBS) — Homicide detectives are hoping that an autopsy will reveal more information on the death of a 5-year-old girl in Lakewood.

Authorities were dispatched shortly before 2:30 a.m. Thursday to the 11500 block of Renville Street, near Del Amo Boulevard, according to Deputy Guillermina Saldana of the Sheriff’s Headquarters Bureau.

The child was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries, Saldana said.

The unidentified child was later pronounced dead.

“Sheriff’s homicide detectives, assisted by Special Victims Bureau detectives, are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death,” Saldana said Friday. “The cause of the child’s death is still unknown. An autopsy has been scheduled to assist in determining the cause of death.”

Authorities urged anyone with more information regarding this death to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.

Ok so what is the real story? There is alot of people out here that are very upset with the care of this little angle. She should of never died in the care of her parents. so fell us in.

This report is completely misleading and wrong. Anyone reading this must be getting the wrong impression and being mislead. False statements and accusations were made such as “unspecified injuries” and the “authorities were shortly dispatched before 2: 30 a.m.” (in reality they were dispatched much later than that) . Releasing this false information to the public is a complete offense to ALL family members and friends of the child ( who may rest in peace ). After reading the report I personally wouldn’t believe in any other texts posted by CBS ( a world renowned and highly respected news station ) as they may arbitrarily decide to distort and manipulate the truth.

so then tell us what happend. All you keep saying it that they are wrong. So then what happend? How did this little baby die? Starvation? Thats what we are reading. So stop saying that they are wrong and tell us what took place.
