#7 SDSU Improves To 15-0 After Crushing Occidental

SAN DIEGO (AP) -- Chase Tapley scored a season-high 15 points while Kawhi Leonard had 14 points and 10 rebounds for seventh-ranked and undefeated San Diego State in a 93-50 laugher over Division III Occidental on Friday.

The Aztecs improved to 15-0 for the first time in school history.

Their 15-game winning streak is also the longest in school history and is second nationally to No. 1 Duke's 22-game run.

San Diego State is one of seven undefeated teams left in Division I.

The 43-point victory margin tied for 10th-largest in school history.

SDSU shot 61 percent (36 of 59) to tie for third-best mark in team history.

The Aztecs were 21 of 24 (87.5 percent) in the second half. They outrebounded the Tigers 42-13.

It was the final non-conference game for the Aztecs, who open Mountain West Conference play at TCU on Wednesday night.

Deshun McCoy scored 18 points for Occidental (5-4).
