LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Los Angeles City Council is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of whoever was responsible for the fatal Christmas Day drive-by shooting of a young mother in South L.A.
Kashmier James, 25, was visiting friends in South Los Angeles and returned to her car Christmas night when a blue vehicle pulled up alongside her and someone fired shots. James' 3-year-old daughter, who was not hit, was strapped in the back seat of her car.
