Man Shot To Death In Parked Vehicle In Hawthorne
HAWTHORNE (CBS) — A man was shot to death Monday in his parked vehicle in Hawthorne, homicide detectives said.
The shooting was reported at 118th Street and Acacia Avenue at 6:36 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
A gunman described as a "young male black adult" approached the vehicle and fired several rounds at the victim before fleeing the scene, the homicide lieutenant said.
The victim was pronounced dead at a hospital.
