(CBS) — The Los Angeles Lakers assigned  rookie Devin Ebanks to the NBA Development League’s Bakersfield Jam on Monday.

Ebanks, who was taken with the 43rd overall pick, was averaging 2.9 points and 1.5 rebounds in 6.4 minutes per game this season.
