Driver Critically Injured After Striking Power Pole
FULLERTON (CBS) — A man was in critical condition Monday after crashing his car into a power pole in Fullerton.
The accident, which occurred at 10:55 p.m. Sunday, happened at State College Boulevard north of Yorba Linda Boulevard, a police sergeant said.
The victim was transported to UCI Medical Center, where doctors are optimistic about his recovery, Sgt. Rhonda Cleggett said. His name was not released.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, Cleggett said.
