It Wasn't A Silent Night In Glendora When Carollers Decided To Sing At 3 AM!

GLENDORA (CBS) — Silent Night? Not at 3 in the morning it's not!

Some Christmas carollers awakened many residents in Glendora on December 12 to pull a prank they also videotaped for YouTube.

A series of not-terribly-amused (OK, make that very angry) people are shown coming to their doors in various state of dress (and undress) asking the carollers to leave nicely.

OK, some not so nicely.

The video, just posted on YouTube, has already gone viral with more than 100,000 views.

The pranksters, who sound pretty good all things considered, hit the 2200 block of East Petunia, police said.

The carolling reportedly began at 1 a.m. (one resident is shown at 2:17 enjoying the show...) and went deep into the night...even after 3 a.m.

Police were eventually called to put an end to the makeshift chorus.

Hark! Police said the Carollers could have been fined for disturbing the peace, but they only issued a warning.
