1 Dead, 6 Hurt In Moreno Valley Head-On Collision
MORENO VALLEY (AP) — An SUV crossed a traffic median and slammed head-on into a minivan Wednesday, leaving one person dead and six others severely injured in Moreno Valley.
Officials say at about 7:45 p.m. Wednesday a Ford Explorer crossed the center median and crashed into a minivan with a family of five inside.
A passenger in the Ford Explorer, 18-year-old Reginal Ray King of Perris, was rushed to the hospital but died hours later.
The Explorer's driver remains in critical condition. The driver and front passenger of the mini-van were listed in critical but stable condition.
The remaining three minivan passengers, including two children, were treated for minor injuries.
